I own 10 houses. He is reasonably priced and does all my electrical work. Thanks Mike! Here's an addendum to the last review. Again Mike rescued me! I was freaking out because my tenant had intermittent heat throughout the bitter cold night and they let me know at 9:30 p.m. after I went to bed. At 4:30 a.m. I checked my phone and found that out. I texted Mr Durbin at 5:30 a.m. reluctantly due to the early hour naturally. He called me right back! He was out there at 11:30 in the morning! He found out with expert diagnostic skills that the furnace was sharing a breaker with too many other things in the house. He straightened that situation right out. The tenant and I are looking forward to no more blowing breakers easily and outlets going out and the furnace going out in very cold weather. Oh, he was out there in the 22° cold fixing the breaker box on the outside of the house!! Mike to the rescue!! See you on the next one folks!

From the original call to set up, everything went how it was planned. Isaiah and Kaleb came to home to install electric above fireplace to mount TV. Also installed dimmer switch. We're very professional and discussed placement of where the TV was going and made sure I was pleased. Would highly recommend!

I had a panel outage during the super cold weather & Durbin came out ASAP & fixed the problem. They were very polite & showed me the problem. Cleaned up after themselves & charged a very fair price. I will absolutely use them again.

I had an excellent experience having Durbin Electric install several new outlets in my basement. They responded quickly to my inquiry and were able to give me a quote over email after I sent them some pictures and talked through my needs. They asked the right questions and gave me a reasonable estimate without trying to upsell me. Trey and Isaiah showed up on time, worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards, and were friendly and courteous throughout the service. Excellent work, beginning to end.

After attempting to install a light fixture ourselves and seeing a spark, we called Durbin Electric on a Sunday and they answered immediately and had someone out the very next day. I was lucky enough to have Isaiah and Trey at my door at 8:30am ready to fix it. They had it fixed quickly and were just pleasant to work with. They wore shoe covers and were super nice to our dog and kids, too. Thank you both for getting our dining room ready for all of our holiday meals this season. Highly recommend! 🙂

I'd had 2 other companies check my electric to determine why half my home kept losing power. Both were stumped and no repair attempts were made.

AMAZING experience with Michael from Durbin Electric. our furnace went out and when the HVAC company couldn’t figure out the issue, we scrambled to find someone to come take a look as we have a 3 month old baby and no heat in our home. Durbin Electric quickly booked us an appointment and arrived at our home within 30 minutes. he quickly diagnosed the issue and even though it was an issue the HVAC company should have been able to fix, he quickly fixed the problem and was incredibly kind while doing so. amazing prices and amazing service all around. would highly recommend Durbin Electric to anyone! thank you, Michael!

Highly recommend Durbin Electric! After a house fire, we needed an electrician onsite to see if we could turn the breaker back on. Isaiah showed up same day, thoroughly checked the breaker and the area of damage, and got us back up and running. Can’t thank this team enough for their quick and friendly service. I chose Durbin Electric because of all the 5 star reviews, and man, they did not disappoint. From the moment I called, which wasn’t until around 1030 this morning, they were nothing short of fantastic. I was told that they may be able to get to me today and I was put on the schedule for the afternoon. The lady that I spoke with was very honest in explaining to me that there was a possibly that they wouldn’t be able to get to me and may have to reschedule, which I was completely fine with.

Well, they made it work! Isaiah showed up right around 4, and by 430, he was done and the electricity in my master bedroom and my bathroom receptacles were all working again! Plus, Isaiah is a super nice dude - very polite and we talked the entire time he was here. So thankful that I made the call to Durbin - Google reviews work! Very professional. Explained what was the issue and fixed the issue. The gentleman who was with Trey. He was very straightforward and to the point. I appreciated his honesty. I don’t remember the name of the other gentleman but he was top notch. They are also very reasonable for an electrician. I would call Durbin again electric again if I had any electrical needs.

I needed an estimate on some electrical repairs to sell my home. Mike and his guys came out, reviewed the requests, found a few other items to take care of for safety sake - and have thus far given the most reasonable quote! Thorough, kind, timely, and communicative - can't recommend them enough!

I would highly recommend Durbin Elictric. They quickly responded to me on a Sunday. morning and had an electrician at my house within an hour. Because LG&E had to disconnect power, my problem was not fixed until next day. Durbin may be the best I have used in my 50 years in Louisville! Mike was just here to label everything in my breaker box. He did a great job. I now know which breaker turns off everything in my house. Once again Durbin Electric did a great job. Price was reasonable.

Isaiah and Kaleb were both consummate professionals and very personable when they installed our outdoor fan, outlets, and GFCI connection for our deck and hot tub. They arrived on time, worked throughout the day and took a very late (and brief) lunch. Before doing anything, they asked for our opinion to verify our requirements. Durbin Electric has done an amazing job on a 1920 historical Highlands house in Louisville. Very professional, reasonable prices and on time appointments kept! Micheal, Isaiah and Kaleb rewired and outfitted an entire garage and back deck, and are coming back soon to do some interior work. I'm lucky to have found them and recommend highly!

We had Isaiah Barmore come out. It was a quick and easy process. He did good work. They got out here much faster than other companies were going to. I'm thankful to only be without power for a couple days rather than a week or longer.

I was so impressed with this company. I had the fire dept and LG&E at my house at midnight with an electrical problem. I asked them what I should do and they said to call a licensed electrician. I looked online and saw that Durbin had a 5 star reputation and thst they were open 24 hrs. I called right away and got a real person who came out the next morning (Sunday) and spent several hours fixing my problem. Mike was so professional and competent. He showed me exactly what had happened and had it fixed and LG&Es inspector there and my electricity turned back on by 3 pm. Less than 24 hours from start to finish. Price was reasonable and I feel very secure that everything is safe. Thank you, Durbin Electric.
